Nordic Drilling Technologies is a Swedish owner-operated company providing professional drilling and field services to the exploration and mining industry.
Behind the company is Daniel Tallqvist, a drilling professional with more than 18 years of experience within drilling and field operations. His background covers core drilling, concrete drilling and cutting, machinery operation, mechanical maintenance and technical field support.
Over the years, Daniel has worked in a wide range of environments and projects, from conventional drilling operations in Sweden to demanding international assignments.
Extensive Field Experience
Our experience includes:
- Exploration and core drilling from dirt to depths of 1,800 metres
- Surface drilling for exploration and mining projects
- Diamond core drilling
- Core orientation and gyro surveys
- Rig mobilisation and setup, including the use of heavy forestry and tracked machinery
- Mechanical maintenance and field repairs
- Troubleshooting and technical support in remote locations
- Working long shifts and under demanding field conditions
- Safety-focused operations and adherence to established industry standards
Projects and assignments have taken us across Sweden and Norway, including drilling operations around the Norwegian fjords, as well as international projects in Greenland and Austria.
In Greenland, Daniel participated in a helicopter-supported exploration drilling project in remote and difficult terrain, where logistics, mobility and equipment reliability were critical to the operation.

Daniel’s training and qualifications include Fall Protection, Hot Work, Road Safety, Safe Lifting, First Aid & CPR, SSG and Working Environment for Drilling Technicians and External Environment, alongside qualifications for heavy vehicles and machinery.
